Woodgreen is a custom home designed by Craig Chevalier and built by Open Horizon Developments, with terraced outdoor spaces and a pool set into a changing landscape.

Site and architectural idea

The site plan connects the house with a pool, patio, planted slopes and a sequence of exterior steps.

Construction challenge

The different garden, patio and driveway levels required the site work to be coordinated with the house and its retaining conditions.

Open Horizon’s work

Open Horizon built the home and coordinated the construction information. The project records include exchanges about CAD drawings and a three-dimensional model to support construction planning.

Result

The completed house connects glazed living spaces with a pool terrace, while timber finishes and a floating stair carry the material language inside.
